In 2023, I collaborated once again with digital designer Olga Celikoglu, this time to bring one of her beautiful paper art compositions to life through animation. The piece explores the human body as a factory in motion, a blend of organic forms and mechanical precision inspired by Olga’s own bodily rhythms.
My role was to deconstruct the physical artwork into digital layers and build dynamic motion that mirrored the tactile qualities of paper. Recreating depth, texture, and the feel of hand-cut edges in After Effects, without the use of 3D tools, was both a technical and creative challenge. The result captures a balance between the organic and the industrial. Fluid movement paired with structured rhythm.
